Terms of Service

futureGoal calculates a target date from your weekly rate of change, and helps you and a buddy stay accountable. It's an informational tool — the projections are estimates, not guarantees.

Keep your sign-in credentials secure. Accounts are for one person each, and you must be at least 16 years old to use futureGoal.

• Be kind in challenges — no harassment or abuse of other people.
• Don't abuse the invite or email system (no spam, no bulk unsolicited invites).
• Don't scrape, probe, or attempt to disrupt the service.

You own your goal data. You grant futureGoal a limited license to host it and display it back to you — and to the buddies you've explicitly shared a challenge with — so the service can function.

futureGoal is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, we'll give you notice first.

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. futureGoal is not a substitute for medical, financial, or fitness professionals, and we don't guarantee any particular outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, futureGoal's total liability arising from your use of the service is capped at AUD 100, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights that can't be excluded under applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law).

You can delete your account anytime from Profile → Delete my account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.

If we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or in-app and update the "last updated" date above.
